O que é um TEDx?
E por que tanta emoção com essas letrinhas TEDx?
Por inúmeros motivos. Pra mim, é porque participar de um TED é uma coisa que não se compra. Você é ou não é convidado. E eu dou muito valor a essa coisa de ter sido convidada. Diferentemente de tantas pessoas que conheci ao longo de minhas carreiras, nunca fui convidada a trabalhar numa empresa. Sempre que comecei num novo trabalho, foi porque fui atrás, pedi emprego.
Então, pra mim, esse convite tem um gostinho de vitória. Muito, muito mais doce.
Outro motivo, é que essa apresentação deixa os mais experientes palestrantes nervosos, pisando em ovos. Eu não fui exceção. Nunca fiquei tão nervosa, tão ansiosa, tão medrosa como nesse palco: antes, durante e depois.
Com apenas 12 dias úteis para criar, ensaiar e performar essa nova palestra, os nervos ficaram à flor da pele. É quando temos que pedir ajuda e contar com os amigos. Obrigada especial a minha comadre Taís Souza e ao designer Guido Giglio.
Algumas pessoas me perguntaram o que é o TEDx. Aqui vai a explicação da Wikipedia. TED (Tecnologia, Entretenimento e Design) é uma organização sem fins lucrativos dedicada ao lema “ideias que merecem ser compartilhadas”, porque mudam o mundo. Começou em 1984, como uma convenção de 4 dias na Califórnia, EUA. Hoje, são realizados 2 encontros anuais, reunindo algumas das maiores mentes do planeta.
Em minhas palestras, sempre incito as plateias a assistirem, ou melhor, se viciarem em assistir TEDs . É de graça no TED.com e as palestras mais vistas, com milhões de visualizações, tem tradução em português. Como essa aqui, meu vídeo de cabeceira, com 57 milhões de views, com Sir Ken Robinson, em Escolas Matam a Criatividade?
Voltando ao TEDx: “Inspirado pelo espírito da conferência original, o TEDx apresenta ideias locais para o grande público, sem visar o lucro, em qualquer lugar do mundo. Eles são produzidos por pessoas apaixonadas pelo formato e pela transformação, que ele é capaz de fazer nos espectadores. Cada organização de um TEDx determina os temas e convida pensadores, realizadores e personalidades para palestrar. As palestras no formato TED, com 18 minutos ou menos, se disseminaram. A explicação é que as pessoas tendem a perder a atenção e o interesse após esse tempo. Além disso, segundo os criadores das TEDx, “uma conversa mais curta não é uma conversa menor”
O dia de hoje é um futuro que te atropelou, ou que você projetou?
“Eu não tenho tempo para o futuro!” – Beia desafia esta frase com bom humor.
A futurista nos convida a olhar para o futuro com um sorriso largo, porque o futuro é um lugar de absurdas possibilidades. Caos ou a abundância? Dependerá da nossa disposição para viajar para o futuro com uma intensa intenção!

When I initially left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment. There has to be a way you are able to remove me from that service? Cheers!
