Não, você não precisa responder. Mas a pessoa me mandou … Então, Vó, não precisa. Mas eu nem conheço essas pessoas e elas me mandam essas coisas – filminhos, acenos, orações, correntes, citações do Einstein e da Cecília Meirelles que eles nunca falaram!
Então, Vó, vou lhe ensinar uma coisa interessantíssima que aprendi com o super professor Edney Souza, Internet não é telefone. Não se assuste com os 2 palavrões que vou falar. É muito mais simples do que parece. Vamo lá: Comunicação Síncrona e Comunicação Assíncrona.
Alô. Quem fala? É a Beia. Eu preciso de um orçamento para palestras, é com você mesmo? Sim, quando será o evento? 18 de janeiro. Eu posso. Você me passa uma proposta? Sim, pode ser por WhatsApp? Sim. Ótimo.
Quando você fala pessoalmente ou liga pelo telefone a comunicação é síncrona. A resposta social esperada é imediata: é pá e pum. É um ping e pong. Se alguém te pergunta “quem fala?” e você não responde no ato, alguma coisa grave aconteceu: ou a ligação caiu, ou a pessoa desmaiou, do outro lado. Alô, tá me escutando, alôôô, putz!

Se o cara não responde, é surdo, louco, ou sem educação. Como minha Vó não é surda, nem louca, ela teme ser indelicada, deselegante, malcriada, grosseira, sem educação ou esnobe. É tudo o que ela não é, e que detestaria passar como “mensagem”.
Esse sentimento de inadequação acha terreno fértil na etiqueta das gerações do século passado. Aquilo vai fermentando, crescendo, atazanando, angustiando, agoniando. A cada nova mensagem, Plim, vem a tortura. Responder. Responder o quê? Não quero, mas tenho que.
Não, Vó, nas redes não tem que. Plim. Por que você está me acenando? Plim. Por que você acha que eu curto essa religião? Eu sou ateia. Plim. Bolsonaro x Lula. O que? Um ou outro? Você só pode estar brincando comigo! Plim. Árvore (cafona) de Natal. Plim. Filminho (cafona) do Papai Noel. O que eu fiz pra receber esses cutucões diários do demônio? Ai, tenho que responder. Responder o quê? Não quero. Mas tenho que. Vó, não precisa.
Você e todo mundo que tem hoje mais de 30 anos, nasceu, cresceu, se formou e entrou no mercado de trabalho se comunicando apenas de forma síncrona.

A comunicação em rede é assíncrona.
Você passa uma mensagem. Do outro lado, não tem uma pessoa pronta pra dizer “alô”. Ela pode estar ou não estar online, pode ver ou não a sua mensagem, gostar ou não, se irritar ou não. Portanto, se e quando a pessoa vir (verbo “ver” no futuro do subjuntivo), ela poderá ou não responder. E mais, nas redes sociais, quem manda uma mensagem para você, Vó, pode estar mandando, ao mesmo tempo, a mesma mensagem para 100 pessoas desconhecidas. E chances há, Vó, que você seja uma dessas torturadas e desconhecidas pessoas.

E tem mais, Vó, você pode deletar essas pessoas. Kaput! Sumir com elas. Pra sempre? Bem, Vó, … Como elas dão em penca, uma hora ou outra vão ressurgir com seus tridentes e te cutucar com orações, imagens cafonas e correntes do “bem”. Mas aí, você deleta elas também.
Mas … isso nunca termina? Não. Só piora, Vó. Sartre tinha razão: “o inferno são os outros”.
Péra um minutinho. Preciso passar o orçamento da minha palestra pelo WhatsApp. Comunicação assíncrona. Como eu sei, que ela sabe, que eu sei que ela receberá a proposta? Vou ligar e fazer uma comunicação síncrona:
“Oi, Juliana. Recebeu? Sim. Tudo certo? Tudo. Beijos.”
