Então, você começa a ver que a IoT (Internet das Coisas) passa a ter outro peso, num futuro muito próximo. Tão próximo que dá até nervoso. Essas conexões em rede entre dispositivos, pessoas, processos e dados (IoT) foi uma das realidades que o Sapphire Now esfregou na minha cara.

No encontro com a Arianna Huffington, a coisa mais importante que ela falou foi que temos que nos desconectar para nos reconectarmos com nós mesmo e depois estarmos tinindo para nos conectarmos melhor com o mundo! À frente de sua nova empresa, ela anunciou a parceria da Thrive Global com a SAP para promover o bem-estar dos empregados. Por que? Porque isso é crítico para o sucesso dos negócios. Foi a reunião mais VIP que participei. Uma pequena sala com apenas 20 pessoas e eu me sentei a um metro da CEO da Thrive Global. A força desta grega que já foi da direita pra esquerda, que conservou o sobrenome de seu ex-marido Michael Huffington, quando se divorciou após ele revelar à imprensa sua bissexualidade – da qual Arianna tinha total conhecimento -, é notável.

Patricia Fletcher me encantou com a sua pesquisa, “Elimine os Vieses das Decisões de Recursos Humanos”. Você sabia que sobre qualquer pessoa, a qualquer momento pesam 150 vieses? E que ao entrevistar um candidato os principais são aqueles que a gente menos acha importantes: nome, foto e local. Loucura, não é? Exatamente quando todos estão se matando para atrair, escolher e reter os melhores “objetivamente”, nossas decisões são traídas por vieses presentes a todo momento em nossas decisões.
